About Me

I was born and brought up in Coventry. I qualified from Manchester University Medical School in 1988. I trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the West Midlands. I was appointed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in Urogynaecology to Medway Maritime Hospital in 1999. I audit all of my outcomes so that I can give specific risk and complication rates. Since my appointment at Medway I have performed more than 2200 suburethral sling (TVT) procedures and 2000 prolapse operations.

I am married with two children.

My NHS practice is based at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, Kent. This is a large district general hospital with a catchment area of 400,000 people. The hospital referral also covers the town of Sittingbourne and also the Isle of Sheppey.
